Any good space saver ideas for a 900 square foot home?
We're moving from a 1,500 sqaure foot home to a 900 sqaure foot home. I have lots of stuff and can't sell all of it..... Any good ideas?
First, have you tried selling it on Craig's list? That's a good way to go. Or perhaps put postings up for it, for low amounts of money, on your town's church and grocery store bulletin boards, etc.
But if you 'can't sell all of it' and you still have to get rid of it, then it's time to bite the inevitable bullet and just donate it to worthy local organizations or an organization like Goodwill. Remember that it's tax deductible. That's better than just throwing it out (especially since you might have to pay someone to haul it away for you).
Don't feel bad about giving it away--someone else might really need it.
