Pilates and Yoga at the Gym...........?
What should you bring with if you are going to take a gym class (pilates and/or yoga). Do they have stuff there? I don't want to show up unprepared.
Some gyms do provide mats, but I don't like using them because they're gross and who knows who used them before me. I just bought one at nike and put it over one of the gym's.
For clothes, anything comfortable really, no jeans. I prefer sweats, a tank and a sports bra, with my hair up. You don't need tennis shoes, since yoga & pilates are done shoe-free.
Other than that, it's fairly straight-forward, I find it helps to do 5-10 minutes of brisk walking before the class so the stretches and workouts are easier.
