What is the best way to iron a male shirt?
I need to know the sequence to be more specific, like should I begin ironing the collar first then arms and then the body or is there any other simple and easier sequence.
Iron collar first, then iron yoke which is behind the neck and between the sleeves on the back of the shirt. you can fold the shirt in half across the back to do this so the yoke lays flat; if you get a crease across the back, you can press that out later.
Then the sleeves, one half of front, back and other half of front.
Did you know that only "casual shirts" get a crease on the sleeve? You use a "ham" to iron a sleeve without a crease on a dress shirt.
