The Chalean Extreme Workout that seems to be getting all the attention at my office these days. I hadn't seen the commercial, and I guess, since I generally work out with my headphones on, I hadn't heard all the people at my gym talking about this new fitness fad. I have been looking for a new approach to fitness, especially since I've apparently hit one of those dry patches where everything you do seems to lead to a plateau. I am no fitter or stronger than I was six months ago, yet I seem to go to the gym at least four times a week. So you can imagine why, when I heard about this new fad, I listened with intent.

After doing a little homework, I learned that the Chalean Extreme Workout system was designed in a lab, and that the system is not simply the system of some guy or girl with a naturally born beautiful body.
This system is about taking the mechanics of the body and meshing these mechanics with a workout approach that highlights fat burning in the way of 60% of your body fat burned away in just three months. No, this workout does not require dangerous pills designed to enhance your internal organs to work harder and trick the body into burning more calories.
This is a safe and effective way to retrain the body and build a leaner body based on scientific research.
So I made the purchase and am just getting going with it.
I will say that it is a challenge. It certainly is not my old approach to working out, where I would randomly walk from machine to machine and do my thing. This workout is about getting the body going, and involving a variety of muscle groups.
It is resistance training based, and is already beginning to help reshape my body with its circuit training regimen.
