been impoving the last month
I do wear dyna splints each night but I was wondering how long it takes to get back full range of motion and yes I did go to physical therapy but he released me after I got the dyna splints
I can only flex to about 125 degrees

Did the physical therapist that you were seeing discharge you after you got the splint. Your flexion is not too bad but obviously you are lacking a significant amount of extension. This is quite important for everday activities. I would either return to the physical therapist and express your concerns with lack of motion or seek the help of another physical therapist. Make sure that the therapist is experienced in manual therapy. If soft tissue, scar tissue, or abnormal alignment is preventing extension, which could be a possibility, the therapist should be able to help diagnose this and a referral to an orthopedic surgeon may be in order. Also, I am not sure exactly what was done in surgery but if they had to do any screws, wire fixation, or plating, those are some things that could potentially limit your range and their removal may need to be looked at by the surgeon.
