A brief History of the Ball Mason Jars
The initial glass jars were known as wax sealers, because they used Sealing-wax which was poured into a direct around the lip that held on a tin cover. This process was problematical, but was mostly the only one accessible for a long time and broadly used even into the early 1900s.
Mason Jars are invented by Rick Mason in 1858. They were also known as fruit jars as well because they were used to store fruit. They were made in many shapes, sizes and colors well into the 1900s. From the time when they were made in such quantity and used for such extended periods, many of them have survived to the present day. Then in 1880 Ball brothers began the manufacture of glass canning jars in Buffalo, New York Known as Ball Mason Jars.

i need help with the removal of the ball joints an wheel bearing on a peugoet 106?
i am trying to replace the bottom ball joint on the front drivers side of a peugoet 106 ,m-reg...i can not get the old ball joint out it seems to be stuck..help , i also need to do the wheel bearing i have got the disc and caliper off ready dont no wat to do next....?
Don't fanny about with replacing just the ball joint, get a lower arm with new bushes included and replace the lot (rear mounts inside car i think). The cost is not very high and it saves you having to do it all over again in six months to replace the bushes!
To do the bearing properly you have to remove the complete hub (remove brake caliper, remove hub nut, disconnect steering and suspension strut). Press old one out and press new one in (you may need a garage to do this for you).
