how long before i have to renew my counter balance forklift license?
Just not sure if mine is still valid, not used it much.
As Jake159 says, there is no expiry date, it is a certificate of training and assessment, not a licence.
Your employer, though, has a duty to see that you are up to date and still competent and safe, so they usually require refresher training every 3 years or so. Or if there could be a doubt about your competence, perhaps following an accident.
As you yourself seem to feel you might be rusty, I'd look at having a refresher.
