Best workout for biceps?
I’m in pretty good shape but it seems like I’m not getting the most out of my workout anymore! I add the weight and add reps but I am just not feeling the burn!
I’m looking for three workouts that will really work my biceps out! I own a power tower, bowflex, 15, 20, &35 lbs free weights, and a curl bar… (no bench-press) with what I have how can I get bigger biceps?
First off, are you trying to build bigger biceps or arms in general? For biceps curls are the only real way to go. There are variations to the curl: reverse grip, hammer, and regular curls. The first two require dumbells though. However, a standard curl does well for biceps. Do 3 sets of 7-8 reps with higher weight. If you're trying to build big arms remember the tricep is twice as large as the bicep. Having big biceps and small triceps looks unproportional. Lastly, realize that nutrition is the most important when trying to gain muscle. Keep your protein high, try 35 grams every 3-4 hours. You will see improvements.
