Is there something I can wrap around my pregnant belly to insulate from sound?
I am 33 weeks pregnant and going to a concert with my entire family. My parents and husband are really worried about the concert being too loud for the baby, but they really want me to go. They have suggested wrapping egg-crate type insulation around my belly (seriously???). Is there any legitimate thing I can do to decrease the sound intensity for the fetus?
I can tell you one thing.. the vibrations will be worse to the baby that the sound. The sound will not be that great. Have you ever dipped your head under a swimming pool and tried to hear someone talking or an announcement outside the water? its ridiculously muffled.
