Two of the colored bands came off of my braces?
Two of the colored bands came off of my braces. Both of them are on the bottom row, on the teeth before the metal that covers your whole tooth. My next appointment is scheduled for March 14. Should I call up to make an earlier appointment because of this? Or should I wait? I also had rubber bands the month before and I was told not to wear them for this month if that helps. Thanks! ![]()
i have no clue where the color things (ligatures?) are. & my braces are free, whatever happens doesn't cost me anything.
I'm assuming the answerer above me is thinking of the bands around your molars.
Anyway, I think it's kinda superficial to go put your colors back on--after all you need to pay for another appointment, which your insurance may or may not cover. Besides, March 14th isn't all that long away. If it's really killin' you, I guess you could try and put the colors back on. In addition, it's in the back of your mouth, so not like many people'll see it, right? :3
