Aquajogger Water
I am thinking of doing walking in the pool with an aquajogger belt. I dont know swimming. Is this safe?
The aquajogger belt suspends you at the shoulder level in the water. I am a 200 lb male and had a neck surgery a couple of years back with a metal plate/screws in my neck. I am unable to do exercise on land due to pain which is absent when in water.

If you go "aqua jogging" in a pool with a friend who can swim, (and preferably knows some water-related life saving techniques), then you'll be fine, but just don't go alone.
Regardless of your physical condition, it's just not safe to go to a pool, (or any other large water body for that matter), without a friend who knows how to swim.

Regarding the other response that "swimming is hardly ever safe," I'd like to add that although the statement is true, it is also true that if you know how to swim, then swimming is not always dangerous either. In fact, if you know how to swim, and you're educated about water safety, then swimming is one of the safest sports in which one can participate provided that one swims with water safety in mind.
